PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR - MARINE

Afcons Infrastructure Limited is an Indian multinational construction and engineering company based in Mumbai. The company provides infrastructure services and is involved in the construction of infrastructure projects such as viaducts, flyovers, metros, bridges, pipelines, roads, ports, barrages, oil and gas projects etc

Risk Identification / Progress

• Reviewing Risk Identification, Quantification, and Mitigation Plan.
• Reviewing Project Health status on weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis and updating management about Project Progress.
• Reviewing variation work in the project.
• Coordinating with Head Office Contracts, Project Manager and Site Contracts team for matters related to Contracts (Variations and Extension of Time)

Fund Management

• Project site visit to review the project progress and understanding the bottleneck of the project.
• Reviewing fund intend and coordinating with finance department for releasing the funds.
• Coordinating with Insurance Department for Bank Guarantee and various Insurance Policies.

Design Tender Coordination

• Coordination with Design Department for getting approval of Construction Drawing.
• Supporting Tendering Team for Rate Analysis.
• Specialized Roles and Responsibilities for Marine Projects
• Project Coordination for various BU Marine Industrial Projects involving the construction of Marine Jetties, Berths, Breakwater, LNG Tanks, Harbors, Quay Wall, Material Handling, Industrial Structures and Green Energy Projects.

• To undertake timely and accurate Project Coordination work involving, Commercial, Subcontract Management, Procurement, Budget review and Risk Identification for smooth functioning of the Project

• Educational Essential: Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Educational Desirable: Master s Degree in Civil engineering, PGDM- NICMAR

• AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, Power Point, Knowledge of Primavera / MS Project.

• Minimum 12 to 18 years of experience in Project Coordination function at Head office involving Marine Industrial Projects

• Mostly Office Job and occasional visit to Sites. Required to work on computers for long hours and pay great attention to detail. Should be able to handle stress well. May need to work extra hours to ensure that the projects meet their deadlines. May need to travel to work sites at domestic or Overseas location. Deal convince all types of people (including project manager, Project Controller and Business Unit Head.
