Project - Civil Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and develop procurement plans and budgets.
• Identify, evaluate, and shortlist suitable vendors based on requirements and commercial parameters.
• Float Requests for Quotations (RFQs), collect vendor quotations, and prepare comparative statements for evaluation.
• Conduct commercial negotiations with vendors to achieve cost optimisation while maintaining quality standards.
• Prepare internal cost estimates and support procurement strategies for assigned categories and projects.
• Coordinate with user departments to ensure effective procurement planning and timely fulfilment of requirements.
• Ensure completion of required process validations before releasing purchase orders.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Payable team to facilitate the procurement-to-payment process.
• Support the Chief SCM in vendor management, commercial evaluation, and procurement-related activities.
