Mandatory Qualifications Ph.D. degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Artificial Intelligence/Data science / /Electrical/Electronics/Electronics and communications/Electronics or related areas or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research,teaching and design and development after MSc/ME/MTech experience with at-least one SCI journal. Experienced candidates will be given priority. Doctoral work is expected to align with the project work. The candidate should have at least 1 SCI journal.

Desired Qualifications

• Expertise in Data Analytics by applying AI and machine learning techniques
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and relevant libraries (TensorFlor, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, CUDA, etc.)
• Knowledge of AI model deployment processes on cloud platforms and local servers and experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Leadership skills, including project management and team coordination.
• Knowledge of diverse QML software development skills like Qiskit, pennylane, Qsim and exposure to any of the quantum computing cloud platforms such as IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, Azure Quantum.
• Evidence of excellent coding skills and experience of writing research papers.
• Background in networks, security, operating systems and system programming.

Job/Position Description- RA Position for MeitY Sponsored project Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGn) invites applications for 1 RA-I position in the area of Quantum Computing, Machine learning and Cybersecurity to work in the department of Computer Science and Engineering.

Project Title : Development of Quantum Machine Learning use cases and applications

Description Applications are invited for one Research Associate-I (RA) position for a MeitY sponsored three year project on Development of Quantum Machine Learning use cases and applications. The work involves design and development of the newer quantum machine learning algorithms, models targeting intrusion/spam/malware detection.

Available Positions Position 1 : Research Associate-I (1 position)

Remuneration RA-I: Consolidated Rs. 58,000/- per month.

Duration of Position: The candidates will be offered a position for 12 months, which will be extended based on the satisfactory performance of the candidate and availability of funds.
