SYSTRA, a world-leading engineering and consulting group specializing in public transport and mobility solutions, is seeking a highly experienced Project Architect to join our team for upcoming Metro Railway projects across India. This key position will be instrumental in the bidding phase, leveraging expertise in architectural concepts, space planning, user experience, and multidisciplinary coordination to develop winning proposals for complex metro station designs.

Responsibilities :

• Concept & Space Planning: Develop initial architectural concepts and optimize the layout for efficient passenger flow, seamlessly integrating all station levels.
• User Experience & Accessibility: Design for intuitive navigation, enhanced comfort, and ensure full accessibility for all commuters, adhering to universal design principles.
• Material & Aesthetics: Select durable, appropriate materials and define the station's visual identity, meticulously considering factors like safety, maintainability, and long-term sustainability.
• Multi-disciplinary Coordination: Ensure seamless integration of architectural designs with civil, structural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and other essential systems, facilitating a holistic project approach.
• Compliance & Documentation: Guarantee that all designs meet relevant building codes, safety regulations, and prepare all necessary documentation for internal reviews and external approvals during the bidding phase.

Profile/Skills

• Education: Graduate in Architecture.
• Experience: Minimum experience of 10 years in planning and designing of underground Metro Stations, or in PMC (Project Management Consultancy) or execution of underground metro stations.
