Project Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support budget planning and financial forecasting activities
• Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts and financial records

Payments & Vendor Management

• Manage end-to-end vendor onboarding, contracts, and negotiations
• Oversee processing of payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Verify invoices, purchase orders, and service-level compliance
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and procurement policies

Audit & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate financial audits
• Maintain documentation for all financial processes and transactions
• Monitor and mitigate financial risks through proper checks and controls
• Promote financial transparency and accountability across the organization
