Role & responsibilities

Job Summary

The project accountant is part of the procurement project team, to manage overseas vendor purchase orders,

invoices and payment process. The tasks will include setting up purchase orders, vendor invoice processing,

coordinating with the vendor and project team for supporting documentation for invoice validation and follow-up

with the client for invoice payment.

The ideal candidate will have procure-to-pay experience, a clear communicator and the ability to bear the

responsibility for the function. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy.

Job Responsibilities:

Review vendor invoices for completeness

Coordinate with project team to get supporting documents to process/validate invoice

Perform invoice validation using three-way match

Coordinate with vendor for additional supporting documentation as necessary

Maintain invoice/payment information on the companys payments platform

Follow-up with client for invoice payments

Desired Skills and Experience

Accounts payable experience for a minimum of 3-5 years in a global role/team

Must have B.Com (or equivalent) with a concentration in Accounting.

Familiarity with office management procedures and project accounting principles

Excellent (English) written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities

Excellent organizational, coordination and administrative skills

Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and Word
