Operation Manager Growth: Admissions, Marketing, Operations & Academics (Bangalore and Hyderabad)

About us
Tilia Children's House is a new Montessori-led school group that grows into Cambridge (IGCSE). We are opening and running campuses in Bangalore and Hyderabad, and we are backed by the K-12 / Orchids network.

The role
You will be the single point of ownership for how our schools perform in the market and on the ground. You will fill seats, run campuses smoothly, and make sure the Montessori classroom experience is delivered well. You will report directly to the Chief Academic Officer and work across both cities.

What you will do

• Admissions and marketing:
• Own the enquiry-to-enrolment funnel for each campus, including lead follow-up, campus tours, counselling and conversion.
• Plan and run local marketing: community and apartment outreach, open houses, events, referrals, digital and print.
• Track enquiries, visits and enrolments weekly, and fix what is leaking.
• Operations:
• Keep campuses running day to day: staffing, vendors, facilities, safety, compliance, parent communication.
• Support campus launches, including setup checklists, hiring support and readiness for opening.
• Manage budgets and cost discipline across campuses.
• Academics:
• Work with the academic team to make sure the Montessori programme is implemented well: classroom quality, teacher practice, materials and observation routines.
• Be the parent-facing academic voice, handling concerns, progress conversations and expectations.
• Leadership:
• Lead and develop campus coordinators and teachers across both cities.
• Report regularly on admissions, operations and quality, and flag problems early.

Who we are looking for

• Either an MBA (marketing, operations or general management) with a strong bias for action, or hands-on experience running or working in a preschool or early-years school.
• 2+ years of experience in school admissions, preschool operations, education marketing or a similar field-facing role. We will weigh energy and ownership over pedigree.
• A strong communicator with parents, staff and vendors, in English plus Kannada, Telugu or Hindi (preferred).
• Comfortable with data, simple dashboards and weekly review rhythms.
• Willing to travel between Bangalore and Hyderabad regularly.
• A builder's mindset: you are happy to work in a start-up setting where you will often have to make things up as you go.

Preferred candidate profile

Experienced School Operations:

Candidates with 8-10 years of experience managing operations across two or more preschools, primary schools, or school campuses. Strong experience in team leadership, admissions growth, parent engagement, budgeting, and academic operations is preferred.
