Program Director

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic programs aligned with organizational goals.
• Develop program strategies, implementation plans, budgets, timelines, and performance indicators.
• Manage cross-functional teams, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of program objectives.
• Monitor program performance, evaluate outcomes, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Identify potential risks, resolve operational challenges, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, partners, and senior leadership.
• Prepare progress reports, presentations, and program performance updates for management.
• Drive continuous improvement, change management, and process optimization initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline; MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in program management, project management, operations, or strategic planning.
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex programs from initiation to completion.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools, budgeting, resource planning, risk assessment, and performance reporting.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, project management frameworks, and change management practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are an added advantage.
