We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Professor - Humanities (English / Sociology / Political Science) to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching, research, and mentoring students while contributing to academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver high-quality lectures and ensure effective curriculum implementation, promoting critical thinking, analytical skills, and academic excellence among students.
2. Contribute to curriculum design, revision, and enrichment in accordance with university guidelines, academic standards, and emerging developments in the discipline.
3. Undertake independent and collaborative research, publish research papers in reputed journals, and contribute to books, book chapters, and other scholarly publications.
4. Guide and supervise research scholars and postgraduate students, oversee dissertations and research projects, and support the development of research methodology and academic writing skills.
5. Develop research proposals, pursue external research funding, and undertake funded or collaborative research projects relevant to the discipline.
6. Provide academic leadership and mentorship to faculty members and students, encourage innovative teaching practices, and promote a culture of research and academic integrity.
7. Design and evaluate examinations, assignments, and research work; provide constructive feedback; and monitor students academic progress and intellectual development.
8. Organize and participate in national and international seminars, conferences, workshops, faculty development programmes, and other academic activities.
9. Contribute to academic planning, departmental administration, institutional committees, accreditation processes, and quality assurance initiatives.
10. Promote interdisciplinary research, academic collaborations, consultancy, and partnerships with universities, research institutions, and relevant organizations.
11. Ensure compliance with university regulations, applicable UGC guidelines, research ethics, academic integrity, and institutional quality standards.
12. Update subject knowledge and pedagogical practices through continuous professional development, advanced research, and participation in academic and scholarly activities.
13. Maintain records of teaching, research, publications, research supervision, and institutional contributions, and submit performance reports in accordance with institutional requirements.
