Professor, Engineering

Essential requirements

• Ph. D degree, Bachelor's or Master's Degree in first class (Engineering/ Technology)
• Ten years of experience in Teaching, Research and / or industry experience of at least five years at the position of assistant professor reader or equivalent grade.

OR

• The essential requirements for the candidates applying for the post:
• First class Master's degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology
• Professional work which is recognized or is equivalent to Ph. D degree (Engineering / Technology) or Industrial / professional experience of ten years out of which at least five years of experience as a senior level assistant professor / reader
• The reorganization for professional shall be valid only if the same is recommended by the vice-chancellor of the university.

Desirable requirements

• Teaching, research, industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization
• Published work, such as research papers, patents filed / obtained, books and / or technical reports
• Experience of guiding the project work / dissertation of PG / research students of supervising RD projects in industry
• Demonstrated leadership in planning and organization academic, research industrial and /or professional activities.
