Professor- Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate CSE courses.
• Preparing lesson plans.
• Conducting lectures, labs, tutorials, and assessments.
• Maintaining high academic standards.
• Guiding student projects.
• Supervising research work.
• Supporting learners through mentoring, counseling, and regular feedback.
• Participating in curriculum development.
• Contributing to departmental meetings and academic committees.
• Engaging in research and scholarly publications.
• Collaborating on funded projects and industry partnerships.
• Involvement in academic events, workshops, and outreach activities that enhance the departments visibility and student learning experience.

Qualifications:

• Strong foundation in core CSE domains such as algorithms, data structures, operating systems, computer networks, databases, and software engineering.
• Knowledge of modern programming languages and tools (e.g., C/C++, Java, Python, web technologies) and ability to teach practical, project-based courses.
• Familiarity with emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or IoT is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated teaching skills, including course planning, instructional design, classroom delivery, student evaluation, and use of educational technologies.
• Active interest in research, with the ability to publish in peer-reviewed venues and contribute to funded projects and collaborative research initiatives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Minimum qualification: Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized institution; Ph.D. (awarded or near completion) is preferred.
