About this role
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Python SRE Production Support Engineer with 8-10 years of IT experience, including strong hands-on expertise in Python-based production support and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) activities.
Responsibilities - Provide L2/L3 production support for critical applications and platforms.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python to reduce manual operational tasks.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using enterprise monitoring tools.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within SLA timelines.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution.
- Manage deployments, releases, and environment support activities.
- Improve system reliability, performance, and availability through SRE best practices.
- Create and maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, and support documentation.
- Participate in on-call support and major incident management activities.
- Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and automation solutions.
