Production Supervisor

Role & responsibilities:

• Plan and allocate daily work to carpenters and workshop staff. Monitor production progress, timelines and manpower productivity.
• Read and understand furniture drawings and construction details.
• Supervise carpentry, assembly and finishing processes.
• Ensure quality, dimensions, joinery and detailing meet specifications.
• Coordinate with Design, Drafting, Stores and Production teams.
• Identify production issues and resolve bottlenecks proactively.
• Control material usage, wastage and rework.
• Maintain production records, job status and daily work reports.
• Maintain workshop discipline, organization and safety standards.
• Train and guide junior carpenters and improve team productivity.
