Production Supervisors

1. Production Operations

• Supervise daily production activities and ensure achievement of planned production targets.
• Monitor production processes and ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
• Allocate manpower and machines according to production requirements.
• Ensure proper utilization of raw materials, manpower, machines, and other resources.
• Monitor production output, productivity, and downtime.

2. Manpower Management

• Supervise and guide production operators, workers, and helpers.
• Prepare shift-wise manpower allocation and work schedules.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, discipline, and productivity of shop-floor employees.
• Train and guide workers on production processes and SOPs.
• Identify manpower requirements and coordinate with HR/management.

3. Quality Control

• Ensure production is carried out according to defined quality standards and specifications.
• Coordinate with the Quality team to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Minimize rejection, rework, and production defects.
• Ensure proper documentation of quality-related issues and corrective actions.

4. Machine & Maintenance Coordination

• Monitor machine performance and identify breakdowns or abnormalities.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Minimize machine downtime and production losses.
• Ensure operators follow proper machine operating procedures.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure strict compliance with workplace safety rules and company policies.
• Conduct regular checks of the production floor for safety hazards.
• Ensure employees use appropriate PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Report accidents, incidents, and unsafe working conditions immediately.

6. Production Planning & Reporting

• Coordinate with the Production Manager for daily and weekly production planning.
• Monitor actual production against planned targets.
• Prepare daily production reports, shift reports, and productivity reports.
• Track key production metrics and highlight deviations to management.
• Maintain proper production records and documentation.

7. Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and production capacity.
• Reduce material wastage, rejection, rework, and downtime.
• Suggest improvements in production processes and workflow.
