Production supervisor/ engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Supervise production activities during assigned shifts to ensure smooth operations and achievement of daily production targets.
  
• Lead and manage production operators, permanent and contract workers.
  
• Ensure product quality meets company standards and customer specifications.
  
• Monitor production performance, troubleshoot process issues, and implement corrective actions.
  
• Ensure compliance with GMP, Food Safety, Health & Safety, and company policies.
  
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
  
• Maintain production records, reports, and shift handovers.
  
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce wastage and improve productivity.
  
• Train, motivate, and develop production staff.
  
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and company resources.

Job Requirements :

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  
• 5–7 years of experience in Food Manufacturing.
  
• Hands-on experience in Production Operations and Shift Management.
  
• Experience with Food Extrusion Technology is mandatory.
  
• Maddox, American Extrusion and Schaaf Extruder Machine experienced as first preference.
  
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and Health & Safety standards.
  
• Experience in production planning, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and people management skills.
  
• Willingness to work Day/Night Shifts.
