About this role
Position : Producion & RnD - (Wall Putty)
Location : Kenya
Job description:
- Manage daily production of wall putty as per production plans.
- Ensure correct mixing of raw materials such as white cement, calcium carbonate, and additives.
- Monitor batch formulation, mixing time, and product consistency.
- Maintain production quality, minimize wastage, and improve productivity.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of production equipment.
- Develop and improve formulations for cement-based and other wall putty products.
- Conduct laboratory trials to optimize raw materials and formulation costs.
- Evaluate raw materials, including cement, fillers, cellulose ethers, and other additives.
- Test product properties such as workability, water retention, adhesion, cracking, smoothness, and drying time.
Required Qualifications
-
Diploma/B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, B.Tech./M.Tech. in Chemical Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in wall putty, dry-mix mortar, cement-based products, or construction chemicals is preferred.
- Knowledge of raw materials, formulations, manufacturing processes, and quality testing.
