Production & Quality engineer (Heavy fabrication)- Bangalore

Role & responsibilities - HEAVY FABRICATION INDUSTRY ONLY

QUALITY - CSWIP 3.1 certification mandatory

1. Knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques and equipment, independently and organized manned within stipulated time at workshop / supplier place.

2. Knowledge on welding process, welding symbol and welding defects. 3. Knowledge of fabrication processes with inspection.

4. Knowledge on assurance of geometrical parameter and dimensions inspection in job against the given specification.

5. Experience with different measuring instruments.

6. Knowledge on basic maths skill that required proving by calculation.

7. Ability to read and interpretation of drawings and specifications.

8. Ability to provide sufficient back up details gathered from workshop / supplier for the cause & effect to analyse the problem and work together in resolution.

9. Shall have good verbal and written communication skills. 10. Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel or similar software to prepare reports

PRODUCTION

• Knowledge and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience in Fabrication dealing with the fabrication activities involving various grades of both Mild and Stainless-Steel Sections like Plate / Structural / Piping constructions.
• Knowledge of basics of developments, forming processes such as Bending, rolling, and   machining operations.
• Knowledge of Welding Process & Technology with insight to ASME Section IX.
• Exposure to manpower handling and Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving issues / concerns of Process, Machines and People.
• Estimation of Manpower skill and deployment based on priorities and flow progress.
