Company: reputed FMCG company

Location: Ahmedabad

Looking for a hands-on professional with strong experience in production management along with purchase/procurement and coordination of Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage and coordinate production operations and ensure timely achievement of production targets.
• Plan production requirements, capacity, schedules and output.
• Coordinate procurement and availability of Raw Materials and Packaging Materials required for production.
• Manage vendors/suppliers, negotiations and timely material supply.
• Ensure production is carried out as per defined quality standards, processes and SOPs.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Quality, Sales, Supply Chain and other internal teams.
• Monitor inventory and identify/res.
• Manage production-related manpower and operational requirements.
• Identify bottlenecks in production/material availability and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with manufacturing partners and external production facilities wherever applicable.
• Willingness to travel across India as required.

Preferred Experience:

Candidates with experience in FMCG / Food & Beverages / Dairy / Pharmaceutical manufacturing will be preferred.

Experience in any of the following environments will be an advantage:
Third-party manufacturing | Contract manufacturing | Job workers | Co-packers | Franchise manufacturing | Outsourced production | Distributed manufacturing networks

Ideal Candidate:

• Hands-on experience in plant/production operations.
• Experience in RM & PM purchase/procurement and coordination.
• Strong vendor and supplier management skills.
• Good understanding of production planning, materials, inventory and quality processes.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving ability.
• Candidates based in Ahmedabad or nearby areas preferred.

Candidates with a combination of production ownership and RM/PM procurement experience will be strongly preferred.
