Production & Planning Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Production Planning and Scheduling: Create daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer requirements.
• Material Tracking: Coordinate with the stores and purchase teams to ensure all raw materials and components are available before production starts.
• Capacity Management: Monitor machine and labor availability to avoid bottlenecks or idle time on the factory floor.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Production, Quality, Logistics and all related internal teams to keep manufacturing running smoothly and resolve any delays.
• Data Management: Keep all data in the electronic formats and update all data in the ERP software regularly.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Production, Chemicals or a related field.
• Sound technical knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Good problem-solving abilities, strong communication, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with manufacturing process and inventory control.
