About this role
Jaipur Rugs is hiring for the position of Planning & Production Control (PPC) in the Supply Chain Department, based in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute production plans as per customer orders and delivery timelines.
- Plan and monitor production schedules, capacity, and order priorities.
- Prepare and monitor MRP based on production requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Stores, Quality, Logistics, and Sales teams.
- Monitor planned vs. actual production and follow up on delays and bottlenecks.
- Track order progress and ensure timely completion and dispatch.
- Conduct pre-production meetings with relevant cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate material requirements with Procurement and Stores teams.
- Maintain production planning, order tracking, and dispatch reports.
- Ensure production plans meet customer specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
- Identify production issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Analyze production performance, plan adherence, capacity utilization, and lead time.
- Support process improvement initiatives in production planning and execution.
- Strong production planning and scheduling skills.
- Good knowledge of PPC, MRP, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of carpet or textile manufacturing.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS, and ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- B.Tech in Textile Engineering / Textile Technology.
- 2-5 years of experience in PPC/Production Planning in Carpet, Textile, Home Furnishing, or Manufacturing.
- Strong planning and coordination skills.
- Experience in carpet, textile, or home furnishing manufacturing preferred.
- Hands-on experience in production planning, scheduling, MRP, and order execution.
- Knowledge of ERP and production planning tools.
- Strong understanding of production processes and capacity planning.
- Focus on timely order execution and process improvement.
