Production Planning and Control Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand and business requirements.
• Develop and monitor production schedules to ensure timely execution and delivery.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Dispatch teams for seamless operations.
• Monitor material availability and plan procurement requirements to avoid production interruptions.
• Track production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Generate production, inventory, and dispatch MIS reports through SAP.
• Maintain BOM, production orders, and planning data in SAP.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and resources.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and on-time delivery performance.

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on experience in SAP (PP/MM Module preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control processes.
• Understanding of BOM, Routing, Capacity Planning, and Inventory Management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS Reporting).
• Good analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
