Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise day-to-day production of silicone sealants, waterproofing chemicals, adhesives and construction chemicals.
• Prepare and execute daily, weekly and monthly production schedules to meet dispatch commitments.
• Ensure correct formulation, weighing, batching, mixing and processing of products as per approved manufacturing procedures.
• Operate and supervise Vacuum Planetary Mixers, Hydraulic Discharge Systems and other production equipment efficiently.
• Train and guide machine operators and production staff on SOPs, machine operation, safety and quality requirements.
• Monitor raw material consumption, production yield and minimize wastage.
• Ensure proper packing, labelling, storage and handling of finished products.
• Maintain Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), production logs and inventory records.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Quality Control and Stores for uninterrupted production.
• Ensure compliance with factory safety procedures, PPE requirements and statutory regulations.
• Plan preventive maintenance of production equipment and minimize machine downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality and cost efficiency.

Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech. (Chemical) or M.Sc. Chemistry or Diploma in Chemical Engineering with relevant experience.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing silicone sealants, waterproofing chemicals, construction chemicals or adhesives.
• Hands-on experience in production planning, batch manufacturing and leading a production team is essential.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in silicone sealant or construction chemical manufacturing plants.
