Production Manager

Role & responsibilities

All Prod. Dept responsibility :• Ensuring that plant and machinery are in excellent condition at all times.
• Coach & train workers in their assigned areas to achieve optimum output.
• Should have exposure to CNC, VMC, HMC, 5 axis, TURNING CENTRE, SPM / MACHINING.
• Knowledge of modern manufacturing concepts
• Customer handling & Qaulity analysis, Production management with thorough knowledge of leading a team of technical staff towards achieving targeted production, planning, maintenance & engineering.
• Ensuring health & safety guidelines are followed.
• Drafting a time scale for the job.
• Making sure that products are produced on time & are of good quality.
• Ensure coaching & development of resources to meet business objectives.
• Liaising among different departments.
• Coordinate setup & implement standard operating procedures for all production operations.
• Optimize resource utilization by implementation of an effective production organization
• Directing, Supervising & motivating a team of workers
• Reviewing the performance of sub-ordinates.
• Ensure planned KPI`s of efficiency & performance are met or exceeded
• Working with Project managers to implement the company`s policies & goals
• Manage adherence to prescribed procedures to ensure first class quality meets or exceeds planned goals.
• Ensure complete compliance to prescribed QMS & 5S processes.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E.& 13-20 years exp. in automotive sector as a Prod. Manager
