Production Manager, Synthetic Leather PVC

Role & responsibilities

Role Purpose Manage complete production from raw-material issue to finished-goods Despatch while achieving quality, productivity and delivery targets.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily production plan.
• Allocate and Control manpower.
• Control machine parameters.
• Ensure correct formulation and batch issue.
• Monitor coating speed.
• Monitor oven temperatures.
• Control coating thickness/GSM.
• Control foaming.
• Control lamination.
• Control embossing.
• Control printing.
• Control winding.
• Reduce scrap and rejection.
• Ensure proper batch identification.
• Coordinate with QC regarding deviations.
• Maintain production records.
• Implement 5S and safety.
• Implement all Compliance Including IATF
• Train operators.

Preferred candidate profile

Technical Requirements Strong practical knowledge of:

• Preparation of PVC plastisol
• Preparation of PU Compound
• Oven temperature zones
• Lamination
• Embossing
• Printing
• Release paper
• Fabric bonding
• Winding tension 
• Thickness/GSM control
• IATF Requirements

Qualifications

Qualification / Experience Diploma/B.Tech in Chemical/Polymer/Textile preferred. 8-15 years Experience as Manager in Synthetic Leather Plant .
