Production Manager ( LT Panels)

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic Production Leader who can drive manufacturing excellence, streamline operations, and lead high-performing teams. The role involves leading and managing end-to-end production operations, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery. The incumbent will drive process improvements, optimise resource utilization, and lead production teams to achieve operational excellence

1. Production Planning & Execution

. Develop and implement production schedules aligned with customer requirements and delivery timelines.
. Ensure smooth day-to-day shop floor operations to achieve production targets.
. Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as design, procurement, and quality.

2. Process Improvement & Optimisation

. Identify opportunities for process enhancement to improve productivity and reduce costs.
. Analyse production data, downtime, and bottlenecks to recommend improvements.
. Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

3. Quality & Compliance
. Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and company policies.
. Work closely with QA/QC teams to maintain product quality and resolve deviations.
. Drive corrective and preventive actions for process issues.

4. Team Management
. Lead, mentor, and supervise production teams and shop floor personnel.
. Conduct training, performance evaluations, and skill development initiatives.
. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

5. Troubleshooting & Maintenance Coordination
. Identify and resolve issues related to machinery, equipment, and processes.
. Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimise downtime and improve efficiency.

6. Reporting & MIS
. Monitor KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, rejection rates, and on-time delivery.
. Prepare and present production reports to senior management.
. Drive data-based decision-making for operational improvements.

Required Skills & Competencies
. Strong knowledge of production processes, electrical panels, and industrial engineering principles.
. Experience of 8 to 12 Years in manufacturing environments (panel manufacturing/automationindustry).
. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
. Leadership and team management capabilities.
. Proficiency in production planning tools and ERP systems.
. Strong communication and coordination skills.
