Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to manage and oversee the complete production operations of our Ghee manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production, maintaining quality standards, achieving production targets, and managing the production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
• Handle the complete ghee manufacturing and packing process.
• Manage manpower, production schedules, raw materials, and machinery.
• Monitor production yield, wastage, efficiency, and downtime.
• Ensure adherence to quality, hygiene, GMP, HACCP, and FSSAI standards.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, and Dispatch teams.
• Identify production issues and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Manage and train supervisors, operators, and production workers.
• Maintain production reports, records, and daily MIS.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, and discipline on the shop floor.
• Drive initiatives for cost reduction, productivity improvement, and wastage control.

Candidate Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in Production/Plant Operations.
• Experience in Ghee, Dairy, Food Processing, Edible Oil, or FMCG manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food production processes and quality standards.
• Experience in handling production teams and shop-floor operations.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Should be hands-on and comfortable managing day-to-day plant operations.

Preferred Location: Candidates from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Bhandup, or nearby areas.
