Production Engineer

Role Title: Production Engineer
Role Summary:
Responsible for planning, optimizing, and improving furnace manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, high quality, and cost-effective operations. Works closely with production teams, maintenance, and quality control to troubleshoot issues, implement process improvements, and support production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes related to furnace manufacturing.
• Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
• Drawing up production schedules and budgets for projects.
• Obtaining any materials and equipment required.
• Monitor key process parameters and assist in maintaining a First Time Right standards to minimize defects and rework.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to plan and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are adhered to, reducing equipment downtime.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, quality issues, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Implement continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support training programs by providing technical guidance and knowledge transfer to operators and supervisors.
• Contribute to cost reduction initiatives by optimizing resource utilization and minimizing scrap and waste.
• Maintain accurate documentation of process parameters, improvements, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards within the production area.

Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 4-8 Years Experience in fabrication/heavy manufacturing

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Production Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in furnace manufacturing, heat treatment, or metallurgical processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with process optimization techniques and manufacturing best practices.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and production planning software.
