Production Engineer

SNSKAR Engineering Components Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Engineer to manage and optimize manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities to ensure quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of engineering components.

Role & responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and execute daily production activities to achieve production targets.
• Coordinate with CNC/VMC machining, assembly, quality, and dispatch teams for smooth workflow.
• Prepare production schedules and allocate manpower and machine resources efficiently.
• Monitor machine utilization, production output, and overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Coordinate with the design and sourcing teams for production feasibility and material availability.
• Monitor raw material consumption, WIP (Work-in-Progress), and finished goods inventory.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to minimize machine downtime.
• Maintain production records, daily reports, and manufacturing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, 5S practices, and company policies.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC machining processes and manufacturing operations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and quality control.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and root cause analysis.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and team coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
