Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production activities in Assembly, Moulding and PDI.
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per the planned schedule.
• Monitor manpower, machines, materials and production processes.
• Ensure processes are carried out as per defined SOPs and work instructions.
• Monitor production quality, rejection, rework and process deviations.
• Identify production issues and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.
• Monitor moulding processes and ensure proper machine and process parameters.
• Supervise assembly activities and ensure proper fitment and completion of products.
• Monitor PDI/final inspection activities and ensure products meet defined requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Stores and other departments.
• Maintain production records, reports and required documentation.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for production and quality issues.
• Implement 5S, Kaizen and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for reducing rejection, wastage and production downtime.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines and materials.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and housekeeping standards.
• Provide guidance and training to operators and production staff.
• Support timely completion of production and dispatch requirements.
