Production Engineer

Role & responsibilities:

Execution of Production Plan as per plan received from PPC

Accountability: Achieve production targets with optimum utilization of resources.

• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for Assembly lines
• Ensure adherence to production plan, Cycle time, and customer delivery commitments
• Balance manpower, machines, moulds, and materials to meet output and efficiency goals
• Monitor production performance and take corrective actions for deviations
• Ensure smooth changeovers and minimal downtime

Deliver consistent quality and productivity in assembly processes.

• Manage manual, semi-automatic, and automated assembly lines
• Ensure adherence to work instructions, control plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Improve line balancing, ergonomics, and productivity
• Implement poka-yoke and error-proofing mechanisms
• Ensure traceability of automotive lighting products

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidates with prior experience in Managing Assembly lines, particularly automotive lighting.
• Candidates with minimum experience for 8-10 years in Assembly department and able to work with Cross Functional Teams to manage complete operations
