Production Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day rubber manufacturing and production activities.
• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment as per standard operating procedures.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and process parameters are maintained.
• Monitor mixing, molding, extrusion, curing, finishing, and related manufacturing processes as applicable.
• Conduct basic inspection of raw materials and finished products.
• Identify production defects and coordinate with Quality and Maintenance teams for corrective action.
• Maintain production records, machine logs, and shift reports.
• Support preventive maintenance and report machine abnormalities to the Maintenance team.
• Follow company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and workplace discipline.
• Minimize material wastage, production downtime, and rejection.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments.
• Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards in the production area.

Preferred candidate profile Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, Rubber Technology, Polymer Technology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical, Electronics & relevant branches.
