Production Engineer Mechanical

Role & responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and execute daily production activities to achieve production targets.
• Handle mechanical manufacturing, assembly, integration, fitting, and fabrication activities.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Ensure proper assembly and integration of mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems.
• Coordinate with design, quality, purchase, and stores teams to ensure smooth production operations.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
• Identify production issues, troubleshoot mechanical problems, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production reports, assembly records, and other relevant documentation.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, tools, and materials.
• Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and company manufacturing processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce wastage, and minimize production delays.
• Ensure timely completion of manufacturing and integration activities as per project schedules.
