Production Engineer-Fan & Geyser

Role & responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities for Fan Assembly, Motor Winding and TPW (Thermal/Testing Process as applicable).
• Achieve production targets with focus on quality, productivity, cost and delivery.
• Monitor and control assembly-line operations, manpower and machine utilization.
• Ensure correct winding parameters, wire specifications, turns, insulation and process controls.
• Monitor TPW/process testing and ensure products meet defined specifications.
• Conduct line balancing, cycle-time analysis and productivity improvement.
• Identify and reduce rejection, rework, downtime and process defects.
• Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and Poka-Yoke initiatives.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Stores and Engineering teams.
• Prepare daily production reports, rejection analysis and downtime reports.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, safety standards and control plans.
• Train operators on process standards and safe working practices.
• Support new model/product trials and process improvements.
