Production Designer - Target India

Job Summary

As a Production Designer, you will play a key role in developing packaging artwork for Target s owned brands. You will be responsible for creating and refining layouts, executing revisions, and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality across all deliverables. You will develop product-specific packaging artwork using approved master templates, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, printer specifications, and technical print and prepress requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to understand project and business requirements and translate them into effective packaging design solutions.
• Ensure timely delivery of all projects while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Maintain and organize artwork files and project materials.
• Ensure packaging artwork meets technical print specifications, prepress requirements, and brand guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of relevant professional experience in packaging design and production artwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of design experience, particularly in print and packaging design.
• A completed 3/4-year college degree or diploma.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a breadth of design capabilities, particularly in packaging artwork and production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with experience in image compositing and artwork production.
• Strong technical understanding of printing processes and prepress requirements, including print-ready artwork preparation, colour management, file specifications, and production accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills._
