About the Role
We are looking for a Production & Quality Engineer with hands-on experience in a factory/manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of
manufacturing processes such as fabrication, machining, cutting, pressing, and related shop-floor activities, along with experience in project planning, inspection, quality documentation, BOM
preparation, cost estimation, client coordination, and vendor management.

The role requires a hands-on professional who can effectively coordinate between clients, vendors, factory teams, and internal stakeholders while managing multiple projects and ensuring timely delivery with complete documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and prepare inspection, planning, and quality reports.
• Prepare BOMs (Bill of Materials) and cost sheets for projects. Coordinate with clients on project requirements, updates, and deliverables.
• Plan and coordinate projects from execution through final delivery.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Manage and track multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  Prepare and maintain datapacks and quality documentation for end delivery.
• Monitor manufacturing activities and ensure adherence to required quality standards and specifications.
• Coordinate with factory/shop-floor teams to resolve quality, production, and execution-related issues.
• Track project progress and proactively address delays or execution challenges.
• Ensure all required project documentation, quality records, and deliverables are completed as planned.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• B.E. / B.Tech/ Diploma in Engg. qualification.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, production, project, or quality engineering.
• Prior experience working in a factory/manufacturing environment is mandatory.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, including fabrication, machining, cutting, pressing, and other related engineering/ manufacturing processes.
• Experience in project planning and vendor coordination.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to prepare and manage reports, BOMs, cost sheets and project data.
  
  
  Experience in the Sugar Industry or Food Processing Industry will be an advantage, not mandatory.
  Immediate joiners will be preferred.
  MBA from a Tier 1/2/3 college will be an added advantage.
  Must be open to travel as required for projects, vendors, and client requirements.
