Product Test Lead

• Analyze business and functional requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project requirements.

• Execute manual testing activities and validate application functionality.

• Perform Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Functional, Non-Functional, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and validate API responses, functionality, and integrations.

• Develop and maintain API automation frameworks using JavaScript or Cypress.

• Perform database testing and validate data integrity, accuracy, and consistency, preferably using Oracle databases.

• Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve product quality.

• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality assurance perspective.

• Execute performance and load testing activities using tools such as JMeter, Locust, or similar tools.

• Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing status, issues, and risks to relevant stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Requirements and Skills

• 5-9 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.

• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing, including requirement analysis, test planning, test case design, and execution.

• Solid understanding of QA methodologies and testing concepts, including Smoke Testing, Sanity Testing, Regression Testing, Functional Testing, Non-Functional Testing, Performance Testing, and UAT.

• Must have experience in API Testing using Postman or similar tools.

• Must have experience in API Automation using JavaScript or Cypress.

• Experience in Database Testing, preferably with Oracle databases.

• Exposure to performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, Locust, or similar tools is preferred.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment.

• Knowledge of the FinTech domain will be an added advantage.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Relevant testing certifications are a plus.
