Job Description Product Specialist | Zoom Solutions

Role Overview

Redington is looking for an experienced, technically strong, and business-oriented Zoom Product Specialist to independently manage end-to-end presales activities across India.The candidate will be responsible for solution architecture, customer and partner engagements, demonstrations, POCs, BOQ preparation, OEM coordination, and supporting business growth through Zoom licensing and services opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Presales Ownership: Independently manage Zoom presales activities across India, supporting regional sales teams, channel partners, and enterprise customers.
• Solution Architecture: Understand customer requirements, design enterprise communication solutions, and prepare technical proposals, BOQs, sizing, and licensing recommendations.
• Demonstrations & POCs: Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, POCs, and customer solution workshops.
• Partner Enablement: Conduct technical training, webinars, and enablement sessions for channel partners and internal sales teams.
• Business Contribution: Support opportunity qualification, technical closure, competitive positioning, cross-selling, and revenue generation.
• OEM Coordination: Work closely with Zoom technical and product teams for complex solution requirements and escalations.
• Services Development: Identify implementation, migration, integration, training, technical support, and managed services opportunities.
• Technical Governance: Maintain presales reporting, technical documentation, opportunity tracking, and standardized processes.

Required Technical Expertise Candidates should have strong expertise in Unified Communications & Collaboration (UC&C), with hands-on knowledge of the following technologies: Technology Domain

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7-8 years of enterprise IT experience, including 45 years in UC&C, collaboration, or cloud communications presales.
• Strong technical experience with Zoom or comparable enterprise UC&C platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Avaya, or RingCentral.
• Hands-on expertise in solution design, demonstrations, POCs, sizing, and BOQ preparation.
• Strong understanding of SIP, VoIP, PSTN, SBC, enterprise networking, and cloud telephony.
• Experience working with OEMs, system integrators, channel partners, and enterprise customers.
• Knowledge of enterprise communication integrations, migration, and deployment architectures.
• Strong communication, technical presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple technical opportunities across India.
• Relevant Zoom certifications or UC&C industry certifications will be an added advantage.

• Strong collaboration with Zoom OEM teams and Redington's regional business teams.

Ideal Candidate A hands-on Zoom / UC&C technical presales professional with strong solution architecture capabilities, commercial awareness, and the ability to independently drive nationwide technical engagements.
The candidate should be capable of owning the complete presales lifecycle, strengthening partner technical capabilities, and contributing to both software licensing and services revenue.

Primary Objective: Establish a strong, independent, and business-focused Zoom presales function for Redington across India.
