Product Safety Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure product safety compliance with buyer requirements and applicable standards.
• Monitor needle control, sharp tool management, and foreign object prevention.
• Conduct product safety inspections across cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing.
• Coordinate garment testing and maintain product safety records.
• Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions.
• Train workers on product safety procedures and maintain compliance documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification: Graduate/Diploma in Textile, Apparel, or a related field.

Experience: 25 years in garment manufacturing, quality, or product safety.

Skills: Knowledge of garment quality, needle control, buyer compliance, auditing, and documentation.
