Associate Product Owner to support the delivery of enterprise web applications and digital platforms. This role works closely with Product, Business Analysis, and Engineering teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined, technically feasible, and aligned with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of product ownership experience, technical expertise gained through software development, and strong Agile delivery skills. Acting as a key liaison between business and technology teams, the successful candidate will help translate business needs into effective digital solutions. Key Responsibilities Product Ownership & Agile Delivery
- Support the execution of product roadmaps and delivery plans.
- Act as Product Owner for one or more Agile teams, ensuring priorities are aligned with business goals.
- Manage and refine sprint backlogs, maintaining clear priorities and well-defined user stories.
- Define acceptance criteria and completion standards for backlog items.
- Ensure requirements are development-ready and accurately reflect business needs.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives. Requirements Definition
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to transform requirements into detailed user stories.
- Document functional and non-functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and edge-case scenarios.
- Ensure product requirements are clear, actionable, and technically sound.
- Maintain alignment between business objectives and technical delivery. Technical Collaboration
- Apply software development knowledge to evaluate solution approaches and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on design decisions, integrations, and implementation strategies.
- Identify potential risks, dependencies, and technical constraints early in the development process.
- Provide ongoing support and clarification to development teams throughout sprint execution.
- Review technical documentation, APIs, and integration designs to ensure alignment with product goals. Digital Platform Delivery
- Support the development and enhancement of enterprise web-based applications and platforms.
- Contribute to data-driven dashboards, business applications, portals, and user-facing digital solutions.
- Ensure considerations for usability, scalability, reliability, and performance are incorporated into requirements.
- Support integration with backend services, databases, and third-party systems. Quality Assurance & Release Support
- Assist testing and validation activities by clarifying requirements and expected outcomes.
- Support user acceptance testing and verification of delivered functionality.
- Participate in defect assessment, prioritisation, and resolution activities.
- Contribute to release planning, readiness reviews, and post-implementation assessments. Stakeholder Engagement
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders across business and technology functions.
- Gather feedback and identify opportunities for product enhancement.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear communication throughout delivery.
- Facilitate collaboration between business users and technical teams. Success Measures Success in this role will be demonstrated through:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in technology, software development, engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in Product Owner, Associate Product Owner, Product Analyst, or similar roles.
- Hands-on experience with web application development, including frontend, backend, or full-stack environments.
- Exposure to enterprise platforms, business applications, or data-driven products.
- Familiarity with modern web technologies and application architectures.
- Understanding of APIs, integrations, and web-based solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed user stories and technical specifications.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills. Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting business operations, supply chain, manufacturing, retail, or similar operational environments.
- Understanding of cloud-based application architectures, particularly within Microsoft technology ecosystems.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
- Professional certifications in Agile, Scrum, or Product Ownership practices.
