About this role
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or equivalent role within data, analytics, finance transformation or technology programmes.
- Strong experience working between business/finance stakeholders and technology delivery teams.
- Good working knowledge of Corporate Finance and FP&A, including:
- P&L
- Budgeting
- Forecasting
- Estimates
- Variance analysis
- Allocations
- Capitalization
- Strong ability to define KPIs, business rules, data requirements and data mappings.
- Experience creating detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for data/analytics solutions.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Jira or Azure DevOps for backlog and work-item management.
- Experience identifying source systems, data owners, dependencies and data gaps.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfortable presenting and facilitating discussions with senior Finance, FP&A and Technology leaders.
Strongly Preferred
- Knowledge of the Technology Business Management (TBM) framework.
- Experience with technology finance / IT finance reporting.
- Experience with technology cost allocation and TBM tower/sub-tower mapping.
- Experience working on Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or other data/analytics platforms.
- Experience defining requirements for financial dashboards and management reporting.
- Understanding of financial data structures such as GL, cost centre, natural account, organizational hierarchy and technology cost structures.
- Experience working with Finance, FP&A, Technology and Data Engineering teams in a large enterprise environment.
