Product Owner – SAP Finance (R2R & Group Reporting)

. Key Responsibilities Product Management & Ownership

• Act as the Product Manager and Product Owner for SAP Finance R2R and Group Reporting capabilities.
• Define and manage the product roadmap, backlog, priorities, and release plans.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align product strategy with organizational goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance user experience across SAP Finance processes. SAP Finance (R2R) Functional Leadership
• Support and optimize SAP Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Month-End and Year-End Close
• Journal Entries
• Accruals and Provisions
• Allocations
• Intercompany Accounting
• Account Reconciliations SAP Group Reporting
• Lead requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and issue resolution for SAP Group Reporting.
• Support financial consolidation and reporting processes including:
• Entity Hierarchies
• Consolidation Activities
• Intercompany Eliminations
• Financial Close Activities
• Management and Statutory Reporting Stakeholder & Delivery Management
• Partner closely with Finance, Controllership, Shared Services, and IT teams.
• Translate business requirements into product features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to drive consensus and decision-making.
• Manage UAT, regression testing, release readiness, and production support activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit requirements, and governance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or SAP Finance solution leadership roles.
• Strong functional expertise in SAP Finance (FI/CO) and Record-to-Report processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Group Reporting and financial consolidation.
• Experience managing product backlogs, roadmaps, and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Ability to translate complex finance requirements into actionable product deliverables.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with business and technical teams.
• Experience driving UAT, release management, and process improvement initiatives.
• Understanding of finance controls, compliance, and reporting processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation or support programs.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum product delivery frameworks.
• Knowledge of financial consolidation, corporate reporting, and close management processes.
