Product Owner - Digital Web

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner - Digital (Web) to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of customer-facing websites and digital portals. The role will focus on improving digital customer journeys across property discovery, lead generation, property purchases, and post-sales services.

The ideal candidate will combine strong digital product management expertise with hands-on experience in web platforms, CMS technologies, UX optimisation, analytics, and enterprise system integrations. Experience in real estate or PropTech is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own the product vision, roadmap, backlog, and delivery of customer-facing websites and digital portals.

- Define and optimise user journeys for property search, listings, lead capture, enquiries, bookings, and customer services.

- Translate business requirements into product features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritised backlogs.

- Work closely with UX/UI designers, engineering teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.

- Manage website and portal capabilities using CMS platforms such as Contentful, Drupal, or WordPress.

- Collaborate with engineering teams on React, Next.js, backend APIs, cloud infrastructure, and third-party integrations.

- Monitor web analytics, conversion funnels, user behaviour, SEO performance, and Core Web Vitals.

- Drive improvements in website performance, accessibility, usability, lead conversion, and customer engagement.

- Manage integrations with CRM, ERP, property inventory, pricing, identity, and analytics systems.

- Establish product KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to measure business impact and customer experience.

- Manage production issues, change requests, vendor performance, SLAs, and application support processes.

- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and enterprise technology standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 8 - 12 years of overall experience in digital product management, web product management, or related technology roles.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in web product ownership or management of customer-facing websites and portals.

- Experience owning product roadmaps, backlogs, requirements, prioritisation, and end-to-end delivery.

- Strong understanding of web technologies, including React/Next.js, REST APIs, backend services, and cloud platforms.

- Experience with CMS platforms such as Contentful, Drupal, or WordPress.

- Knowledge of SEO, web analytics, conversion rate optimisation, and Core Web Vitals.

- Experience with CRM/ERP integrations, preferably Salesforce and Oracle ERP.

- Strong understanding of UI/UX, customer journey mapping, and data-driven product decisions.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Exposure to ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management, along with vendor and SLA governance.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in real estate, PropTech, property marketplaces, or property development.

- Experience with property search, listing platforms, lead-generation funnels, and online booking journeys.

- Exposure to buyer, property-owner, resident, or customer self-service portals.

- Experience working with distributed engineering teams and external technology partners.
