Product Owner (PO) / Developer with strong expertise in

IBM InfoSphere MDM (Product domain / Universal Product Catalog) . This role combines

functional leadership and hands-on development , supporting the evolution of our product data management ecosystem and ensuring high-quality, governed product data across systems. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and integration teams to define, design, and deliver scalable MDM solutions aligned with enterprise data strategy.

Key Responsibilities Product Ownership / Functional

• Define and refine functional requirements for product data management initiatives
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Drive product backlog management, prioritization, and delivery planning
• Ensure alignment with data governance and stewardship processes
• Support data quality initiatives, including golden record definition and lifecycle management
• Facilitate workshops and provide guidance on product data modeling and hierarchy structures

MDM / Functional Expertise

• Work with IBM InfoSphere MDM architecture, particularly:
• Operational Server (Standard / Advanced Edition)
• Core entity domains: Product, Party, Location, Hierarchy
• Design and manage:
• Product entities, attributes, and classifications
• Product hierarchies and relationships
• Apply MDM best practices:
• Golden record management
• Data governance and stewardship workflows
• Configuration of match/merge rules (product domain context)

Technical Responsibilities

• Configure and extend MDM solutions using MDM Workbench
• Data model configuration
• Extension development
• Develop and maintain integrations and services using:
• Java
• SOAP-based Web Services
• XML processing
• Write and optimize queries using SQL (DB2 preferred)
• Deploy and support applications in WebSphere Application Server
• Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless data flows across platforms

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM (Product domain / UPC)
• Solid understanding of MDM architecture and data modeling concepts
• Hands-on experience with:
• Java development
• SOAP Web Services
• SQL (DB2 is a strong asset)
• Experience using MDM Workbench for configuration and extensions
• Knowledge of data governance, stewardship, and data quality frameworks
• Ability to operate in a hybrid PO / technical role, bridging business and IT
