The company streamlines the entire utility billing lifecycle—linking, monitoring, paying, and negotiating—so customers can focus on growing their portfolios instead of managing paperwork. AirBills connects accounts from over 20,000 utility providers into a single dashboard, automates payments and audits to reduce errors and late fees, and provides real-time reporting on usage, savings, and alerts. The platform helps users save an average of $212 per bill and supports portfolios ranging from individual homes to 1,000+ doors with tailored plans for different scales. AirBills is on a mission to make utility billing smarter, simpler, and more cost-effective for rental property professionals everywhere.

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Product Manager at AirBills. The Product Manager will own the end-to-end lifecycle of utility automation and optimization products, from discovery and requirements gathering through launch and iteration. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting user and market research, defining product strategy and roadmaps, creating clear product specifications, and collaborating closely with engineering, design, operations, and customer success teams. The role also involves prioritizing features, managing backlogs, monitoring product performance using data and user feedback, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience across web and platform interfaces. The Product Manager will help align product outcomes with business goals, support go-to-market activities, and contribute to continuous improvement of workflows for rental property professionals.

Qualifications

• Product management skills including roadmap development, requirements definition, backlog prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with user research, customer discovery, and translating insights into clear product decisions and features.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using data, metrics, and experimentation to evaluate product performance and guide improvements.
• Background working with SaaS platforms, fintech, proptech, or automation tools, ideally in B2B or rental property-related domains.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and to document product specifications and user stories effectively.
• Comfort operating in a remote, fast-paced environment with ownership over outcomes and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with agile methodologies, project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana), and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom) is beneficial.
