Product Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage your PMs directly: set expectations, run reviews, build growth plans, and take responsibility for what the team delivers.
• Platform Strategy: Push for API-first design across the integration platform. When a new partner or OEM need comes in, your team should be asking what the reusable version of this looks like, not just how to solve the one request in front of them.
• Decision-Making Under Ambiguity: Make market expansion calls with the information you actually have, which will often be incomplete. Name your assumptions, decide, and revisit the decision as real data comes in.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with engineering on what the platform's abstractions should look like technically, and with sales and business teams on what a new market actually needs before you commit a roadmap to it.
• Hiring and Team Building: Grow the team as scope increases, and hire PMs who can operate the way this role requires: comfortable with APIs, comfortable without a clean brief.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 2 years managing a team of PMs.
• An API-first mindset, with direct experience building or owning an integration platform, meaning abstracted, reusable connectivity rather than one-off point integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to make and defend product decisions with limited data, particularly in market expansion or other early-stage, low-information contexts.
• Strong systems design thinking: you can look at three different integration requests and see the one underlying capability they all need.
• Experience managing distributed teams and coordinating across time zones.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bring engineering and business stakeholders along on decisions that don't have full data behind them yet.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication and authorisation models, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience in automotive retail, B2B SaaS platforms, or developer-facing products.
• Background in international market entry or expansion strategy.
• Advanced degree (MBA or Engineering) from a top-tier institution.
