Product Manager Warehouse Automation & Intralogistics

Dclutter is an engineering-driven company specializing in modular storage, warehouse automation and intra-logistics solutions. With a strong presence in healthcare and institutional storage, Dclutter is now expanding its technology and solution portfolio into the broader Warehouse Automation and Intralogistics market across India.

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Product Manager – Warehouse Automation & Intralogistics to lead the development, positioning, technical sales support and market expansion of our warehouse automation solutions.

Role Objective

The Product Manager will be responsible for developing and driving Dclutter's Warehouse Automation product portfolio, with a strong focus on AS/RS and automated material-handling solutions.

The person will act as the bridge between customers, sales, engineering, technology partners, suppliers and management, converting customer requirements into technically and commercially viable automation solutions.

The role requires a combination of technical understanding, solution-design capability, product management, business development and customer-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities
1. Product & Solution Management

• Take ownership of Dclutter's Warehouse Automation product portfolio.
• Develop and maintain product strategy, positioning and roadmap.
• Build strong technical knowledge of AS/RS, Box AS/RS, Pallet AS/RS, conveyors, storage/retrieval systems, sortation and warehouse automation technologies.
• Understand emerging technologies and identify opportunities to introduce new solutions in the Indian market.
• Develop application-specific solutions for different industries and warehouse environments.
  

2. Solution Design & Pre-Sales

• Understand customer warehouse operations, storage requirements, SKU profiles, throughput and process flows.
• Conduct customer discussions and site assessments.
• Prepare conceptual layouts, solution architecture and preliminary technical specifications.
• Work with engineering teams and technology partners to develop complete automation solutions.
• Prepare technical presentations, proposals, solution documents and ROI/TCO justification.
• Support the sales team during customer presentations, technical discussions and negotiations.
• Participate in tender preparation and technical compliance documentation.
  

3. Market Development

• Identify potential markets and applications for warehouse automation across India.
• Develop opportunities beyond healthcare, including:
• Pharmaceuticals
• E-commerce
• 3PL & Logistics
• Automotive
• Manufacturing
• FMCG
• Retail
• Electronics
• Industrial Warehousing
• Cold Chain
• Study competitors, pricing, technologies and market trends.
• Develop strategies to differentiate Dclutter's solutions in the market.
• Generate and qualify new product/application opportunities in coordination with the sales team.
  

4. Customer & Business Development

• Work closely with customers to understand their operational challenges and automation requirements.
• Lead technical discussions with CXOs, warehouse heads, supply-chain professionals, plant heads and engineering teams.
• Convert customer requirements into commercially viable automation proposals.
• Support sales teams in opportunity development and order conversion.
• Develop long-term relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
  

5. Technology Partner Management

• Work closely with domestic and international technology partners.
• Evaluate new automation technologies, equipment and solution providers.
• Coordinate technical discussions, demonstrations, specifications and commercial negotiations with partners.
• Ensure partner technologies are suitable for the Indian market and Dclutter's business model.
• Support localization and integration of technologies wherever required.
  

6. Project & Implementation Support

• Work with project and engineering teams from order finalization through commissioning.
• Ensure that the proposed solution is technically aligned with customer requirements.
• Support project teams in resolving technical and application-related issues.
• Capture customer feedback and convert it into product and process improvements.
  

7. Product Documentation & Knowledge Development

• Develop product brochures, presentations, technical datasheets and application documents.
• Create standard solution configurations and proposal templates.
• Develop case studies and ROI models.
• Conduct product training for sales and application engineering teams.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of warehouse automation technologies and industry developments.
  

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a technically strong and commercially oriented professional who can independently understand a customer's warehouse requirement and develop a suitable automation solution.

Essential Skills

• Strong understanding of Warehouse Automation / AS/RS / Material Handling Systems / Intralogistics.
• Ability to understand warehouse processes and translate them into automation solutions.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems, automation and warehouse processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer-facing and presentation skills.
• Ability to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the product/business.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Mechatronics / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Automation or a related engineering discipline.

MBA / PG qualification in Marketing, Operations or Supply Chain will be an added advantage.

Experience

5–10 years of relevant experience in Warehouse Automation, Intralogistics, AS/RS, Material Handling, Industrial Automation or System Integration.

Candidates with strong technical and business-development experience in warehouse automation may also be considered outside this experience range.
