Product Manager - SaaS

Role Overview:

We are looking for a customer-focused Product Manager with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with the founding team, engineering, design, and marketing teams to define product strategy, prioritize the roadmap, and deliver user-centric solutions through rapid experimentation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with the founding team to define and evolve the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.

- Understand customer needs through user interviews, surveys, feedback, and product data to identify problems and opportunities for innovation.

- Own the product roadmap and prioritize features based on customer impact, business value, development effort, and strategic goals.

- Translate business requirements and customer insights into product specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable development plans.

- Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to develop, launch, and improve product features.

- Lead Agile product development activities, including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog prioritization, and retrospectives.

- Define and monitor product KPIs, analyze usage patterns, and use data to validate hypotheses and inform product decisions.

- Take a hands-on approach to product execution, including wireframing, reviewing designs, validating features, coordinating QA, and refining user stories.

- Drive rapid prototyping, experimentation, and iterative product development to validate ideas and improve user experience.

- Manage product launches, gather user feedback, evaluate outcomes, and prioritize subsequent improvements.

- Balance customer needs, technical constraints, business priorities, and delivery timelines while making product decisions.

- Take ownership of initiatives from problem discovery and planning through implementation, launch, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 4 - 10 years of experience in product management or closely related roles, preferably in a startup or SaaS environment.

- Strong entrepreneurial mindset, ownership, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.

- Strong customer empathy and a demonstrated ability to translate user problems into practical product solutions.

- Good technical understanding and the ability to work closely with engineering teams and assess technical trade-offs.

- Experience with product implementation, feature delivery, and hands-on product execution.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, lean product development, and rapid iteration.

- Familiarity with product management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, and Figma.

- Exposure to product analytics and monitoring tools such as Elastic or similar platforms.

- Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; candidates from Tier 1 institutes preferred.
