Product Manager - Life Insurance

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with strong Life Insurance domain experience and a proven background in a Product-Based / ICT / InsurTech organisation. The role will involve managing the end-to-end product lifecycle for Life Insurance products and digital solutions, working closely with business and technology teams.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the product roadmap for Life Insurance products and digital solutions.
• Own the product lifecycle from ideation through implementation and post-launch enhancements.
• Gather and analyse business and functional requirements.
• Prepare and manage BRDs, FRDs and FSDs.
• Work with technology teams on Life Asia / core Life Insurance platforms.
• Drive digital transformation and customer journey improvements.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, Sales, Operations and IT teams.
• Manage product backlog, prioritisation and Agile delivery.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis.
• Monitor product performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations and applicable industry standards.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of Product Management experience.
• 6+ years of Life Insurance domain experience.
• Product-Based Company experience is mandatory.
• Experience with Life Insurance product development.
• Hands-on experience with Life Asia / LifeAsia or equivalent core Life Insurance platforms.
• Strong BRD / FRD / FSD documentation experience.
• Experience with Policy Administration Systems (PAS).
• Strong knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
• Agile / Scrum experience.
• Digital Insurance / Digital Transformation experience.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Good understanding of IRDAI regulations.
