Product Manager II

BlueVine is looking for an experienced Product Manager who will own and drive the roadmap for payments, collections, capital markets, accounting, and finance for the lending business unit. The platform and systems used in this domain are mission-critical and impact the experience for our clients and serve as the backbone for internal stakeholders' workflows.

This person will be responsible for articulating the business case for and delivering new features as well as enhancing our existing solutions, based on customer and stakeholder feedback and data-driven analyses. This role will require collaboration with a broad set of technical and non-technical stakeholders, including R& D, risk and back-office operations, support, business operations, accounting and finance teams, and legal and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Own and drive the product roadmap for payments, collections, capital markets, and accounting and finance within the lending business unit, aligning features and initiatives to company strategy, OKRs, and KPIs through close collaboration with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Conduct business discovery and gather requirements from a broad set of internal stakeholders, including risk, back-office operations, accounting, finance, and legal and compliance teams.
• Define detailed technical specifications for new features and projects, outlining business requirements, acceptance criteria, and system design considerations, serving as a precise guide for engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Partner closely with R& D and QA teams through sprint planning and execution, conducting UAT before production deployments and driving issues and bugs to resolution.
• Monitor and maintain mission-critical systems across payments, accounting, and capital markets, ensuring data accuracy, integrating with banks and vendors, and enhancing internal operational tools for efficiency and scalability.
• Identify the business case for new products and enhancements through data analysis, SQL-based querying, customer feedback, and stakeholder input, prioritizing work for the highest business impact.
• Facilitate smooth communication between R& D teams and business stakeholders, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
• Conduct demo sessions for new features before launch and develop training materials and reports for stakeholders and partners.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a product manager in a fast-paced technology company. Fintech lending experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• A self-starter with a bias for action who can move projects forward and lead a cross-functional team towards product solutions.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse group of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced analytical skills, including experience with data analysis and SQL.
• Demonstrated track record of launching successful products and features.
• Experience managing complex projects with limited resources and competing priorities.
• Experience using AI tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude for research, automation, and prototyping.
• B. A. or B. S. in physics, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Previous work experience in a technical role is a plus.
• A Master's, PhD, or MBA will be considered when evaluating work experience.
