About this role
Minimum qualifications:
Every day, thousands of global partners—including systems integrators, resellers, independent software vendors (ISVs), managed service providers (MSPs), and technology partners—rely on Google Cloud to build, scale, and transform enterprise businesses. At the heart of this global ecosystem is the Partner Program Platform, which powers the foundational infrastructure and lifecycle operations for Google Cloud Partner Advantage.
The Partner Program Platform governs how partners onboard, achieve competency badges and specializations, maintain compliance, register agreements, and receive commercial incentives and rebates.
Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform its business and industry. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google's cutting-edge technology, and tools that help developers build more sustainably. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role (e.g., Technical Program Management, Software Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Enterprise Systems Architecture).
- 2 years of experience managing, launching, or migrating platform, developer API, backend workflow engines, or foundational enterprise infrastructure products.
- Experience with Partner Relationship Management systems, B2B partner programs, tiering mechanics, rebate/incentive computation engines, or cloud marketplaces.
- Knowledge of service-oriented architecture, enterprise data contracts (LBOs), REST/gRPC API design, event-driven architectures, and leading technical design reviews with Staff Architects.
- Ability to align goals and foster collaboration across geographically distributed teams (e.g., Bangalore, Sunnyvale, Seattle).
- Ability to grow in matrixed enterprise environments, transforming ambiguity into structured execution plans.
- Ability to evaluate trade-offs between partner requests versus scalable platform capabilities, prioritizing platform scale.
- Ability to drive technical projects and system migrations to completion with high reliability and zero disruption.

- Bridge Partner Strategy, GTM Operations, Finance, and Engineering—translating complex commercial policies into high-scale, low-latency platform capabilities, automated primitives, and APIs.
- Partner with systems architects to define Logical Business Objects, event streams, and Google Remote Procedure Call (gRPC)/REST APIs connecting CRM (Salesforce), Cloud Marketplace, Billing, and Partner Hub.
- Build the API infrastructure and foundational capabilities enabling self-service tools and internal agentic workflows (e.g., Partner Agent and sales copilots).
